On December 23rd, the first equipment moving-in and launch ceremony for iSABers' Tianjin Composite Substrate Mass Production Demonstration Line— a leading enterprise in semiconductor heterogeneous integration technology— was successfully held at the Binhai High-tech Zone's Bolonghu Science and Technology Park in Tianjin. Xia Qinglin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Tianjin Binhai High-tech Zone; Dr. Mu Fengwen, Chairman of iSABers; Luo Longfei, Executive General Manager of China International Capital Corporation (CICC); Zhou Quan, Partner of Shenzhen InnoFortune Fund Management Co., Ltd.; Yang Bo, Partner of Shanghai Weihao Chuangxin Investment Management Co., Ltd.; and Li Yong, Partner of Deheng Law Offices, attended the ceremony.

Other guests attending the event included: Qiu Shaoyun, General Manager of Tianjin Haixing Operation Management Co., Ltd.; Dr. Tan Xianghu, Deputy General Manager of iSABers; and Dr. Guo Chao, Deputy General Manager of iSABers.

At the beginning of the event, led by Dr. Mu Fengwen, Chairman of iSABers, Xia Qinglin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Tianjin Binhai High-tech Zone, and his delegation first visited the company's production line. This production line is the first new-type composite substrate mass production line in China. Its completion will fill the domestic gap in this field and solve key problems of advanced substrate materials in China.

After the tour, the official launching event for the first equipment move-in of iSABers' Tianjin composite substrate production line commenced. The event began with a speech by Dr. Mu Fengwen, the company’s Chairman. Dr. Mu first extended a warm welcome and heartfelt gratitude to all leaders and guests in attendance. He stated that since establishing its presence in Tianjin, iSABers has received strong support from governments and leaders at all levels in Tianjin, particularly from the Binhai High-tech Zone. He added that the company’s progress would not have been possible without the trust of its investors and the hard work of its employees.

Dr. Mu pointed out that substrate materials are one of the cornerstones of the entire semiconductor industry. Advanced composite substrate materials, as an emerging material technology, will further optimize substrate material performance, reduce costs, and help drive breakthroughs in semiconductor technology.


Moving forward, iSABers will redouble its efforts, adhering to the corporate spirit of "integration innovation and boundary-breaking," continuing to innovate in R&D, and delivering diverse new substrate material products. This will lay a solid foundation and contribute to the development of China's semiconductor industry.


Yang Bo, Partner of Shanghai Weihao Chuangxin Investment Management Co., Ltd., spoke highly of iSABers' current development. He emphasized that the semiconductor industry is a key sector encouraged by China's government. With iSABers' continuous R&D and production of semiconductor material technologies, it will have enormous growth potential in the industry. Therefore, he expressed full confidence in iSABers' future prospects.

Xia Qinglin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Tianjin Binhai High-tech Zone, noted that iSABers is a globally leading semiconductor materials enterprise and one of the key supported Xinchuang (indigenous innovation in information technology) companies in the high-tech zone. Since the project's settlement, the management committee and various departments have paid close attention to the project's construction and the company's development. He emphasized that this production line, as the first new-type composite substrate mass production line in China with globally advanced technical standards, has filled the domestic gap in this field, making today's event highly commemorative.

The launch of iSABers' composite substrate production line marks another significant achievement in the joint creation of a Xinchuang (indigenous information technology innovation) industry ecosystem by iSABers and the High-Tech Zone. This milestone is bound to have a more positive and far-reaching impact on the development of both the company and the High-Tech Zone. In his closing remarks, Secretary Xia expressed the hope that iSABers will leverage its own strengths to continuously introduce more high-quality upstream and downstream enterprises of the industrial chain to settle and develop in the High-Tech Zone.

The move-in of the first equipment marks a phased achievement in the construction of the Tianjin composite substrate mass production demonstration line, as the project transitions from cleanroom renovation to equipment installation and debugging. Upon completion and commissioning, iSABers' Tianjin composite substrate production line will become the first advanced composite substrate mass production line in China, filling the domestic gap in this field. This milestone is of utmost importance for China's advanced composite substrate industry to secure a strategic commanding height globally.
